ENERGY & EFFICIENCY

• Solar Union for 15 Panasonic solar panels (5kW) New roof by Gaytan Roofing required for Solar installation. 26% of the combined roof replacement and solar installation costs was a tax write-off.

• LG battery with SMA Technology, 10kWh

ELECTRIFICATION

• FUJITSU heat pump in the attic installed by A-1 Guaranteed. They needed to redo all the ducts.

• Induction Range, GE Profile 30” from Costco online

• Costel Electric to upgrade the main service panel from 100 Amps to 200 Amps

• STIEBEL ELTRON 24plus electric tankless water heater installed by Daniel Vidal Heating in the attic and a BOSH 2 gallon electric water heater under the kitchen sink.

• PGE REMOVED THE GAS CONNECTION TO MY HOUSE AND RECLAIMED MY GAS METER.

WATER CONSERVATION

• Hang clothes to dry on backyard clothesline.

OTHER

• Used free services of energysage and was very satisfied with their assistance in choosing a contractor.

• In April 2021 I had Pecan Street install an e-gauge. So my solar system performance and electric consumption is one of the 1,000 houses nationwide available for research.
